medium tray..oklaaaa.senang and xbanyak pakai bahan

macamana nak buat?

• rebus macaroni sampai medium cooked
• in another pan, tumis garlic, red onions, minced meat, sosej, button mushroom
• masukkan cream of chicken n mushroom soup
• masukkan fresh milk sikit
• tomatoes, carrots
• gaulkan dengan macaroni yg dah masak tu
• then masukkan semuanya dlm baking tin
• tuangkan telur yg dah dipukul ( dlm 2 biji ) - nak bagi naik, tuang bagi rata ok
  
• letakkan parmesan cheese on top ( i used cheddar cheese jek, yg slice2 tu ) and oregano
  
• bakar pada suhu 250 c , 20 mins 
• letak dia kat level bawah sbb klo atas sgt kedudukan dlm oven nnti cheese kat atas hangus tp dalam xnaik lg...

 and then....

bila rajin pulak?

kita panggil kawan2 dtg makan kt rumah ehehehehehe

(bukan rajin pun tapi nak habiskan everything dlm fridge since nak tgl rumah 2 weeks kan)

gulai tempoyak ikan patin, sambal sardin, kerabu seafood and ulam

macamana nak buat?

sambal sardin semua org tau kan

• blend bawang merah, halia, lengkuas, kunyit, cili api
• masukkan bahan blend semua dlm santan 
• masukkan serai, daun kunyit, asam keping
• dah menggelegak masukkan ikan...
• tunggu ikan masak ( not too long nnti ikan hancur ), masukkan terung n tomato ( n pun sbb nak habiskan benda dlm fridge )
• garam 

kerabu seafood?

• bakar ikan tongkol, rebus sotong, udang
• racik ikan tongkol yg dah masak halus2
• gaulkan dengan kelapa sikit, cili api, tomato, serai 
• tuangkan sos ikan sikit and limau kasturi
• siap!

read rinies blog just now about potty training..
its true that its never too early to teach anything to ur child
though ive been very careful with introducing anything to my baby..i do want him to explore new things at an early age...with careful supervision of course


rafiqs growing at a very fast pase
last week he could only crawl if hes in desperate need to reach me ( read : klo dah nangis kuat, mama still kt dapur )
today, hes moving really fast ( either properly or crawling like a soldier ) ...
tau2 ke dah kat dapur..
last week he wud only stretch his head up really high so that he can spot me from inside the playpen,
3 days ago...i nearly faited seeing him standing in the playpen leaning outside observing the carpet below.
OH MY GOD!!!
what if he fell??????????????
straightaway terus turunkan the upper level!
takut ok

nasib baik mama xheart attack ok!

which is mamamamammamamamaama and i tgh sibuk layan laptop ke kan..

back to the title about cups


so the other day ive been reading about how to introduce babies to using sippy cups
what i found is..the earliest is 4months...
start by putting just a little bit of milk ( formula or EBM ) then give it to them slowly
so that they get the idea of swallowing slowly instead of sucking
cari sippy cups yg mmg cater for babies at that age


ada jugak yg think that is not wise to change from bottles to sippy cups..
ajar je guna cups terus
coz its like moving from one habit to another
but then mmg rather messy la kan
imagine babies guna cups...kita suap slow2 pon mesti yg kuar lg byk dr yg masuk ehehehe


so yesterday, we went to buy better sippy cups for rafiq
he has one tapi nak carik yg ada tanda oz kat situ..so boleh la bagi him milk guna the cup kan
we bought one from tommy tippee...bought the one for 4mn +
bagi dia try 1st...
tadi buatkan his porridge + broccoli and carrots
letak air suam in the sippy cup
kelakar jugak at first
dia nak suck the teat tu..
kan keras sikit..
n then i tilted the sup a bit, tgk dah masuk sikit i kuarkan balik
he then telan air tu mcm biasa...
ada jugak pandang i muka pelik hahahha
n then he wanted to play with the cup..
so bagi jelah..
habisla my living room dia basahkan...
so after that kenalah mengemop plak!
xpe...slow2
nak try with milk..maybe next week kot.
bagi dia biasa dulu dgn plain water...
klo tak habis nnti tumpah semut satu rumah


lepas ni nnti nak try guna potty plak..
maybe when rafis 's 8 months old...
ajar satu2 dulu

im not sure if its just me but when i pump my BM...

though im glad that ive successfully BF rafiq for 6 months ( wpon tak 100% ) tapi sedihhhhhhh

5 expensive baby related product i don't regret buying :

• Baby Bjorn carrier : very very very useful. rafiq doesnt fancy the stroller at all. so mmgla berbaloi,baloi,baloi.even i can use it
• Nursing Pillow : yes mahal 120 for a pillow. but masa awal2 bersalin tu mmg sakit the c-sect wound so mmg sgt useful. rafiq plak so small if bf sambil baring he will immediately fall asleep pastu half n hour bgn nk nyusu.so yes, love this pillow and still using.eventhou kaki si kecik dh terkeluar2 from the pillow
• Touch n feel books with CD : they aint cheap. RM 80 per set. but ive been using them since he was 2 months old till now. he knows when and where to touch now. but then rafiq is more interested in crawling around rather than sitting down n reading books now. tapi xpe..he can use till hes 5
• anmum 2 big boxes every month, alpha lipid 1 tin per month and GNC fenugreek pills ( not really related to Rafiq directly but ada jugak kena mengena ) : RM 300 ++ per month. never stopped. 2 mugs of anmum per day, 1.5 scoop alpha lipid per day. and 2 fenugreek pills per day. i need the enhancer coz i dont think my milk supply melimpah ruah mcm org lain. plus with rafiq yg susah nk minum FM..so xpelah.kena jugak paksa diri. the first 2 months alpha lipid was sponsored by Col Asia.n then sbb dah xde pg jumpa gynea..kena beli sendiri ngeee...but i think xlama lg boleh reduce sikit bab ni kot..rafiq dah boleh minum FM sikit2. i think my BM dah mcm makin kurang...aaaaaaaaaa so sad!
• Avent breast pump : im still using it although i prefer the manual MAM breast pump.klo nak cepat guna avent.coz its electric and boleh pump both breasts at one time. but tak fancy sgt sbb every time pump rasa mcm dia sedut every part of my body.kuat jugak the suction. in the beginning regret sbb rafiq pun xminat avents teats. but then satu hari tertukar MAM teats kt Avents bottle n langsung xleak.so after that guna lah semua bottles and tukar the teat je.
  

5 cheap baby related product i don't regret buying :

• Sweet Cherry Playpen : mmg murah. mula2 beli esprit n then ada one part dlm tu patah. dah balik miri baru perasan.so pulangkan balik n kat toys r us miri xde yg ada dua stage tu.so beli la yg mana ada kt situ.worth it coz quality sama je dgn play pen yg mahal and rafiq xpernah xtido dlm play pen tu except if balik kl.
• All his educational CD's : sesame street, baby bright, baby einstein and macam2 lagi...keeps him company when ive to do the cooking and any house chores.tp skrg dia susah jugak nak pay attention...dia dah discover he can chase me to the kitchen.adeh!but they're still useful for a few minutes.
• safety first bath seat : keeps him still while im struggling to bathe him.at least duduk dlm tu dia xdelah jalan kemana2 dlm tub tu.
• RM 5 knee pad : prevents his knees from getting sore while crawling around. murah n everyday kena pakaikan since rumah mmg mostly xcovered with carpet or tikar
• Ikea mosquito net : yup, he sleeps in the playpen covered with the net.

THINGS THAT I REGRET BUYING :

adalah a few...yelah..first time parents kan.mana tau. beli je apa yg rasa nak...excited nak ada baby kan.but the things that i regret the most buying are

• Quinny Buzz and Peg Prego stroller : y buy in the first place? quinny buzz sbb cun. peg prego sbb bagus n cun . but in the end, rafiq mmg xminat stroller langsung. he'll only sleep in there. if hes fallen asleep in the car or in our arms. plus both of them sgt bulky so i cant carry them out of the car and shopping complex miri yg teruk ni sangat sempit and believe me...stroller mmg xpractical kt sini..so yes...i sold them off...got half the price.but xpe.dari simpan berabuk je..xde sweet memories pun so can let go. website tolong jual www.miafichita.blogspot.com
• Baby gap, Guess, Pumpkin Patch clothes : the ones that i bought b4 rafiq was born. beli kat boutique...harga 4 x from the ones im selling now.sama je..xde beza langsung. pastu sengal pg beli size 0-3 months.so xsampai 2 bulan dah xleh pakai...yes, regret..
• Gin and jackie diaper bag : beli online. sebab cun sesangat. pastu xpernah pakai. n ada 2,3 lg diaper bag.termasuk yg org bagi ada 9. punyelah banyak.but this one regret sbb sgt mahal. but then, sama jugak...my fren here berkenan sgt. she just gave birth so in the end..jadilah present for her newborn baby.oklah tu.tak kena bebel ngan cik abg...

well overall....puas hati tahap average..

- even more kepochi than before, membebel je 24 jam - he loves dancing with me...menjerit2 suka - he can sit properly now - he can crawl!!!!!tapi slowla...klo dah penat dia sambung merangkak mcm askar using his elbows.. - he wants to stand instead of sitting down...uiiiii susah !!!!!! pg kenduri je marah org pegang..he wants to be free..( kena beli walker kot? ok ke eh? )

banyaklah lagi...

but then...

sedih la...kejap je dia dah besar

pegang other younger babies rasa mcm rindu time dia newborn
i think every mommy feels the same way kot kan?

one more day till rafiq starts comsuming solid food

ive bought all the necessary utensils and ingredients
harap2 nnti rafiq suka masakan mama ye eheee

as advised my rinie, i should start with fruits
since rafiq pn mmg 90% BF i think fruits should be ok jugak.mild sikit for his tummy..then next week nk try bubur nasi n carrots or pumpkin.
the other day i tried mixing 1/2 spoon nestle ( beras+soya ) with 3 spoons of my BM..
dia telan tp buat muka pelik...ahahahahaha

how do i feel?

kalau boleh nak rafiq jadi baby forever........

im so proud of u sayang,
walaupon sgt lasak...
xnak duduk diam...keliling satu rumah sambil merangkak mcm askar tapi mama tetap jugak happy....
penat tapi happy...

glad he turned out to be so cheerful, active, clever and friendly
